We’re all familiar with the Gregorian calendar which starts on January 1, but not everyone celebrates this date as the beginning of the year.
Chinese New Year, for instance, falls somewhere between late January and late February. And Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, occurs in September or October.
In ancient Lemuria, time wasn’t measured or tracked the way we do it today. It wasn’t necessary.
As fourth- and fifth-dimensional beings, Lemurians perceived time and space differently than we do. They were able to observe and understand the interplay of cycles on a cosmic scale.
The cycles of Mother Earth, our local sun and moon, the other planets in our system, and other star systems in our galaxy all exert influences on one another. Lemurians understood that the ending of a cycle unfolds naturally into a new beginning. And yet any new beginning always differs from the previous one because Creation is constantly evolving and no two cycles are identical.
Which brings us back to New Year’s.
In the spirit of bringing Lemurian consciousness and Lemurian wisdom back into our current earth-human experience, we need to look beyond our concept of time to celebrate the beginning of the Lemurian year. We need to look to numerology.
11 November is the closest day we have to a Lemurian New Year because 11-11 is a significant number in Lemurian thought. Here’s why.
1111 is a Goddess number. It’s coded with the vibration of genesis (the number 1) on four levels simultaneously—the physical, the emotional, the mental and the spiritual. 1111 represents new beginnings and new energy in every way.
The number sequence also represents the four elements—earth, water, air and fire—as well as the four Lemurian Goddesses associated with these elements.
Over the last 20 years, an increasing number of people around the world have been noticing this number repeatedly and wondering why it keeps appearing to them. For thousands of us, 1111 has been a code that triggers spiritual awakening, which is just another form of new beginnings.
As wheel of the season turns and the calendar brings us to 11 November, consider celebrating the Lemurian New Year. Think about how you'd like to change your life and start fresh—physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
Have fun with it. Create your own ceremony. Choose creative ways to celebrate. But most importantly, set a clear intention for how you want your life to change in the coming year. It all begins with the power and focus of your intention.
